Chit

The chit fund is one of India's oldest indigenous financial institutions. By law, it is a contract between subscribers and the foreman of a chit company, wherein subscribers shall pay a certain amount in regular instalments for a definite time period. The successful bidder (subscriber to the chit scheme) stands to gain from the auction amount while the other subscribers gain by the discount offered by the successful bidder.

In order to keep a close watch on the operations in a chit company and to streamline all the activities, SST Kernel has come out with CHIT Management Software. The software is developed in Visual Basic and SQL Server as its back-end. All Chits Act laid by the government has been taken care while designing and developing this software.

It is a knowledge-based system, which helps in future modifications, customization and training of the Chit company staff.

Being user-friendly, it can be customized as per the requirements of the Chit companies, and is amazingly simple to use. The software in its whole life cycle has followed ISO 9001 standards.

The software has been designed and developed in the guidance of Mr. D Ramachandra, President, All India Association of Chit Funds.
